Sharing from one eReader to another

My wife has a Sony eReader and I'm thinking of getting one for myself. My question is whether the books she's already purchased over the past couple of years will be transferable to my reader and if so how do I do that?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

All you have to do is authorize your Sony with the same account as your wife's Sony and you will then be able to read any ePub she has.

Yes. Simply register your new reader to the same ADE account that she uses, and you'll be able to share books. That applies not just to a Sony Reader, but to any ePub device which uses ADE (which essentially means anything other than an Amazon Kindle).
