Wait or move up?

I am the owner of the first gen Nook and am thinking of upgrading to the Nook Simple Touch with glowlight.

My question is this: Since I know I want another Nook, and I do read mostly at night, is this a good option? Would I be better off getting a regular NST? Is there that big a difference between the original Nook and the Nook Simple Touch?

Can anyone tell me if there are more font sizes available on the NST than the 1st Gen?

I have the 1st Gen Nook. I have the STR but not the Glow. There is a difference between the 1st Gen & the STR. I have also looked at the Glow at B&N & think you would be fine with the Glow. But only if you compare it to the 1st Gen Nook & not the STR. This is my opinion only but I did notice a difference in clarity of the print between the Glow & the STR. With night time reading (with low lighting or no light) I would say the Glow is a great option for you.

As for the number of font sizes, I think they are the same. I went to check & found my 1st Gen was too low on the battery so I have to charge it to turn it on. Sorry. I'm sure someone else will be able to answer this for you.
