In the Australian Google Play Store the sale books are $1.99 a number of them have been on sale through Google Play before so not all that exciting

Maybe for some things, but I just checked several of the books and price is not matched. I reported this and hopefully prices will drop. I would be interested in some of these.

Everything I've purchased has been ePub (regular Adobe Adept DRM).

Yes, of course there are the apps and browser forgot to mention those. I didn't mention PDF because of the 33 books in my account (not counting a few public domain freebies) only one has PDF as a download option.

The .99 Banned Books are a fantastic bargain - all modern classics. It took a bit to figure it out, but then it was simple to download my 17 purchases to Adobe Digital Editions and then to my Nook. Had I purchased them at Amazon or Barnes & Noble the bill would have been about $140.

I can not access the US book list on Google Play but I do have a bit of credit left on my US amazon account so if they're matching I may pick up any that interest me.

Did Google allow them to be put into a cart, or did you have to make 17 separate purchases? My CC company gets upset about multiple under-a-dollar purchases, and I hate to alarm them unduly!
