Don't Bundle 11/22/63 With a Video, Bundle It With . .

It just so happened that I had gotten the Chris Matthews book, Jack Kennedy from the library on Tuesday. I also had reserved 11/22/63. When I picked up the Chris Matthews book on Monday, I mentioned that 11/22/63 was taking a long time. Turns out my reservation hadn't been made correctly, and I got the book on Friday. I still had 150 pages to read in Jack Kennedy, so if it had a 2-week check-out, I wasn't going to pick it up until I finished JK. Turns out it was 2 weeks, but I figured if I just read 100 pages a night, I'd be golden.

Finished yesterday afternoon, and enjoyed it immensely. I think the fact that I had just read Jack Kennedy beforehand made it better. Also, the fact that it was in dead tree book form was great. When it got really exciting (last 150 pages), I was hitting the book to deal with my anxiety. The noise bothered my daughter, but didn't hurt the book. I wouldn't try that with the kindle!

Instead of bundling 11/22/63 with a video, bundle it with a nonfiction Kenndy book!

Yeah I have a few Kennedy books on my wishlist, after reading 11/22/63. I finished it just before Christmas and believe that it was my favorite book of 2011 that I read. Very interesting president and i'm interested in learning more about him.
