TTF not embedded InDesign CS 4 EPUB to MOBI
Tools
Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard
Font manager-Font Book
InDesign CS4 version 6.0
Calibre version 0.8.35 by Kovid Goyal

Problem 1
  • Exported InDesign file to EPUB
  • Convert EPUB to MOBI using Calibre
  • Some ttf not embedded.
  • Non-embedded ttf fonts in Home user account, i.e. Mac/Users/user-name/Library/Fonts
Q1
Since Font Book indicates fonts valid, why not embed?

Q2
Will Calibre embed .ttf, ttc, otf & .dfont?

Apparently problem not with Calibre. InDesign CS4 is not embedding fonts in exported EPUB.
