App launcher confusion

Hello! I am a bit of newbie when it comes to both the Vox and Android in general. I'm afraid I am finding the App Launcher, which...errm...launches when the "All Apps" button is pressed very confusing, simply because it does not display all apps. Since I downloaded a couple of things from Getjar, I notice that a few of the stock apps (for example, Youtube) have dropped off the bottom of the so-called "All Apps" screen, and for the life of me, I cannot work out any way to scroll down or click through to these. I also suspect a few of the built-in apps were never visible in the main "All Apps" screen - for example, Zinio. I have checked the User Guide, but of course, there is no information Could someone please explain what I am doing wrong?

should just need to scroll the screen

gentle touch the screen and move your finger upwards to reveal the rest (if like me though, i accidentally open apps while doing this)

Ah ha! Yes, seems so obvious now. Think I was pressing too hard and accidentally launching apps as you say. Thank you :]

The apps are in alphabetical order, so you have to scroll to get to those at the end after you have more than a screenfull. One of the most annoying "features" of this Android system is the swipe scrolling with no scroll bar, which launches numerous apps accidentally before you get to the bottom. Try selecting your Public Library in the browser when it's half-way down a list of hundreds!

Not sure if you have used it, give the search widget a try, default on the first page

click the left box of it, then from the result select apps, then start typing app names in and it shows all matching.

handy if you have a few apps and know the name (or part name) of them
