PDF-to-PDF save to disk increasing size

Folks:
I am having an odd event take place. I have an DRM-free PDF file from the a publisher, which is roughly 15MB in my catalog.

When I go 'Save to Disk' the output file jumps to 105MB. I am not changing the file output type. I am only using the default 'save to disk' settings - letting Calibre clean up the filename with: replacing spaces with underscores, and removing any special characters from the file/directory name.

Has anyone seen this behavior? I am only noticing it with one pdf file. All my purchased books (in pdf format) and personal pdf files are 'saving to disk' correctly.

I am currently using version 1.25 on Debian since it was in the Stable repo. The newer versions are not in the Stable repo yet, so I am not ready to update.

I can't answer the PDF->PDF problem as such

But you might be interested in Kovid Goyal's (calibre author) recent comments on the Linux distribution model, see item 2 in this post -->> Linux definitely has more problems than any other OS

I suggest you download the latest version of calibre from calibre - E-book management rather than wait for a 3rd party to - "...get their heads out of their asses" : Kovid Goyal 2014-09-14

Repo versions are not supported via these forums. If you wish help, upgrade as BetterRed suggested then report back.
