Moving the Book Information section?

On my Calibre screen, the far right-hand column is a book information section, that shows the book cover, the comments, and any metadata about the book, including what formats it exists in. I'm not sure what that section is called.

Is there some easy way to move that to the bottom of the screen, so I can see more columns and fewer rows? I've seen screen prints from some people who made that change, but I'm not a programmer, nor am I really a power user, so I'm not sure how to do it.

It is called Book Details Section, It's position is controlled by Preferences: Look and Feel: U I Layout: Change Wide to Narrow. Apply and Restart Calibre to see the change

Wonderful! now, is there some way to get the metadata comments to show up in the new Book Details section?

(also, as an aside, how does one get/give karma points to someone?)

Same place, but the Book details tab.
set or remove ticks

Click the Karma button on the exact post you want it to go to.

Ah, I see - I learn more about Calibre every day. thank you for your patience with me, theducks.

ETA: turns out, the book I was looking at didn't have any comments, which is why I thought the comments were lost. Tried another book with comments, and presto! there they were. Wonderful.
