Construction of Omnibus files?
![]() I see no apparent method using the commands as given in Sigil 4 which I have been working with in correcting punctuation, etc. in existing books. Last edited by ThePage; 01-05-2012 at 01:38 AM. Reason: adding tags |

You just have to take epubs of the other books, extract the (x)html, make sure the filenames are unique then add them all to a single book.
Most likely also a good idea to use a single stylesheet and chop up the books into chapters once in Sigil. |

Do a Google search for a python program called "epubmerge.py" v. 4.1 by Jim Miller, Dec. 2011, available under the Apache 2.0 license. I've used it to merge several separate short stories into one epub. It seemed to get confused with space characters in file names, though, so you may have to rename your (x)html files with underscores in place of spaces to get it to work smoothly.
