how do I eject my plugged in cable from Kobo?

Good evening, I am a retired ex engineering secretary and ESL teacher in my 80th year. Am fairly computer literate.

Have just started my Kobo eReader and find their instructions not very user-friendly. I have it hooked up to my computer, but would like to get a book just bought on to my Kobo, but first need to know how to find an eject button somewhere. I may just have to unplug regardless unless I want to stay plugged for a dog's age.

don't know if I'm doing this correctly, but I have finally figured out how to get the 'eject' button...on my kobo desktop, didn't know enough to click on the icons at the top left...anyhow, hope I don't have any more stupid questions for you.

I had a little chuckle at this one. I didn't know what "Eject" meant too. I kept looking for an obvious button like on the cd players, expecting something to physically eject. My husband showed me how to eject from calibre or my file browser (whichever I was using to manage), but man did I ever feel silly

Welcome!

No problem, except you're not going to get the level of answers here, as well as interesting discussion about your ebook reader, since this is the place where members introduce themselves [Introduce Yourself Forum].

You should visit the Kobo forum - where you will get a huge level of helpful advice - and then come back here and tell us a bit more about yourself - what do you like to read, etc., etc - you know - introduce yourself!
