Confused over closing of thread
Why have the mod's seen fit to close a Kobo "What are you reading" thread that has been active for over 6 months, suggesting people move to the main "what are you reading thread"?

Because it's not Kobo-specific. We already have a perfectly acceptable generic thread on the same subject. There's nothing that's specific to the Kobo in this thread.

I just question though why it has been allowed to continue for over 6 months before being closed.

Actually, I think the Kobo thread should have been merged with the main thread since most of the messages really do belong there.
