Problem when I convert a processed recipe html to mobi
Hello:
My name is Sergio and this is my first thread. Please, excuse me for my writing because I'm spanish. I'm learning to write my own recipes but I have a problem. Some properties as "background" or "border" that I write in "extra_css" are shown in the processed html (ebook-convert myrecipe.recipe...) but when I convert to mobi, this properties disappear. Then, how I could show a black background or a border in some element if this properties disappear? Thanks for the future information... |

MOBI does not support that kind of formatting. Convert to epub and the formatting will be preserved.

Excuse me but i continue with my recipe. Now the problem is that Kindle not read epub format. I have try to convert the processed html to others formats (rtf, zip, txt and pdf) but any are good. RTF and TXT not show the properties background and border. PDF not show the menu because is only a pdf. ZIP isn's let for the email service of Amazon (@free.kindle.com) because it have too many elements.
Any solution? Some format that the email service of Amazon let an it show background and border properties? Any way that mobi format can show this properties? Maybe AZW format? Calibre can't convert to this format... |

There is no solution for the Kindle. It just does not support that formatting.
