Problem with Nook classic - can not display all pages
Hi All,
I have some problem with my Nook Classic, I'm using Calibre to convert to Epub, it was ok but this time when I convert one file from prc to epub with around 1800 pages, when I read epub in Nook it only display 900 pages, it has blank page after new chapter title. I checked in Calibre, the epub file in calibre still has enough 1800 pages.

Anyone help me

Thanks in advance
Check the length of your chapters. The nook classic had a limit on the size of a single chapter, something around 200KB or thereabouts. On one of my books I had to introduce additional chapter breaks to fix it, you may well have the same issue.

I use Sigil, open the ePub with it and break a chapter wherever you feel like it, by clicking Ctrl-Return.

Now I found my problem: when I press page up /page down my nook display next chapter / previous chapter - it should be next page / previous page.


Do you have any idea?

Or you can have calibre do that for you in the epub output options, "Split files larger than:". Default is 260KB, but you can change that to whatever you need. Also, if your ebook has correct chapter definitions/page breaks defined calibre should split it for you automatically (there's an option to turn that off). If a section is still too large after splitting on page breaks, calibre will split it again.

No, that's new to me, but there must be some issue with your conversion. Check the Calibre convert options as mention in the post above.
