Fabula Zero Exposition, A Humorous Graphic Novel Superhero Fantasy Adventure all about the effects of Writers Block by Nick Davis

Even Jack will admit he isn’t having a great month. After finally getting his dream job as lead writer on the Captain Avenger comic his inspiration runs dry. With a submission deadline looming his editor on his back and no sleep for days he tries to hash out a story with little success. Then things really start to turn strange; Jack’s characters start popping up in his life and he finds himself caught up in action straight out of the pages of a comic book.

The question is as Jack’s realities collide and the line between fiction and real life starts to blur is Jack on the verge of a nervous breakdown? Or are these events more real than he realizes…

Exposition is a kelptic mash up of comic book and prose all about the insanity of writers block. This is a story featuring Superheros, evil Villains, dim Henchmen, noisy Ninjas, giant Robots and a very diabolic dance number as a Jack begins to lose the plot as he tries to find his ending.

The Jeep careered through the construction zone with Jack screaming all the way. More through bewildered panic than skill, he narrowly missed several deadfalls and large pieces of construction machinery in what could only be described as a blockbuster movie sequence of driving. Finally after several near misses of the Mechaniod grabbing or throwing things at them, they hit a dead end, the Jeep skidding to a stop in a neat semi-turn. They faced the only way out, which was directly at the rampaging Mechaniod.
“Oh shit! Oh shit! This is real isn’t it?” said Jack breathing hard and staring at the huge metal robot lumbering at them.
“Have heart, Jack we are not done yet. Charge at it!” said Captain Avenger.
“Charge at it?”
“Yes, charge at it. I have a plan. We have it just where we want it.”
“We do?”

The focus tightens to Doctor Dark's face. He again looks at the figure in the booth. The Twins are on each shoulder and his bass voice drops.
“And I would do it all for free.
If it wasn't for my dark, dark greed”

More Feedback from a Reader who picked up Exposition on a whim... read the book. its really good. quick read, and i didnt mind the text without pictures as much as i thought i would. definitely a suggestible title to someone who is enthusiastic about the behind the scenes of how a comic gets made. This confirms that there is a lot of hallucination and big dreaming involved.
