Unhappy Craig Tablet

Hello, just bought a Craig Tablet for my daughter, she is always wanting to use my Droid X phone, so I bought her the Craig. Problem is we can't get the same apps on the Craig as we get on my phone. Android.Market just wants to send the apps to my phone instead of the tablet. Any advice or pointers out there?

You will have to create a gmail account for your daughter on the craig. When you first started the tablet, It should have asked for a email address and such. If you put in the same information you have on your phone, as far as the market is concerned, it is still your phone you want the apps for.

You will have to either clear/delete the market user account info, or do a factory reset on the craig. You should be able to clear the market info by using the applications manager in settings. I think it works that way. It has been a long time since I needed to do that.

You should be able to do a factory data reset in the privacy area of settings. That should erease all the data on your tablet that did not come with it form the factory. Then go through the initial setup again and put in the gmail account info for your daughter.

Before you do a factory reset, make sure you have any serial or registration numbers handy that need to be entered during registration; if there are any.

I believe that androidtablets.net and the XDA developers forums have sections specifically for the craig, you might want to check them out to verify I am giving correct instructions. I do not own a craig, but most android systems work much the same as each other.
