Author Sort

Hi

I am a new member but I have been exploring Calibre for about a month. What a great piece of software.

I have a number of books already loaded. I find that the easiest way to find a book is to sort the display by Author(s). However, this is where the screen is a bit confusing. When you sort by Author, the ordering of the books appears to random. As an example, Tom Clancy would appear before Clive Cussler. It is logical when you realize that Clancy preceeds Cussler but at first glance it looks like there is something wrong. Is there a way to display the Author Sort column instead of or in addition to the Author(s) column?

Try using the 'Authors' section in the Tag Browser, it will only show the authors name selected.
