Custom Cases?

Are there any other sites besides http://www.caseable.com/custom-simple-nook-touch-cover and http://app.medgestore.com/customize/...&cookiecheck=1 that allow you to design your own cases (NOT skins)?

Caseable don't ship outside of the US and the EU, and MEdge don't make custom cases for the Nook Simple Touch, only the 1st Generation.

I want to make a case that looks like a classic book cover. The Kate Spade ones are pricey.

I'm a little cautious about that Caseable product, the dimensions seem wrong. The page lists the cover as 7.18 x 5 inches. However, the Nook ST itself is 6.5 x 5 inches. The cover I got for mine at B&N is 7 x 5.25 and the m-edge Go Jacket is 6.75 x 5.25 inches and a nice, tight fit at that.

I don't know of another source to build your own custom design.

This is an example of the cover I want.

It looks like an M-Edge one. M-Edge said the Nook 1 covers won't fit the Simple Touch. Would the Kindle Touch covers fit? It has similar dimensions to the Caseable Nook Touch covers: 7in x 5.125in x 0.625in. Will the elastic hold the shorter Nook?

Sorry but that doesn't work either. I tried it but the Nook is just a bit too wide.

caseable's cases for simple nook touch

caseable DOES ship outside of the US, they ship to US, Canada, Europe, UK, and Germany

The Simple Nook Touch case is the same size as the Kindle 4 case. It does fit.

Scyang, I really want to believe you. Have you tried any of these cases in person? M-Edge's Kindle Touch case is 7in x 5.125in x 0.625in, their Nook 1 case is 8.1in x 5.4in x 1in. Caseable's Nook case is 7.18” x 5.”.

I'm in Malaysia. Caseable only ships to the US, Canada and the EU - I've already asked them.

I prefer M-Edge because they come with a free light, ship internationally and have that pleather spine which makes it look more like a book.

Sigh, it's so hard finding Nook cases.

Do Kindle Touch cases with elastic on the 4 corners fit Nook Simple Touch? I prefer the universal elastic mount type to the device-specific plastic side/corner clips.

I like this Kate Spade Kindle Touch case that uses 4 corner elastic mounts. http://www.amazon.com/kate-spade-new.../dp/B005WDVOA0. From the picture, it looks like there's extra space at the sides to accommodate the Nook.

There are reshipping services around that will post it on to you from the States. If you do your research and find a reputable one I doubt it is very expensive. Haven't actually used one myself.

Perhaps if you found a suitable case that would suit your needs, you could use "hook & loop" (Velcro) tape to anchor your reader into the case. Some of the commercial brands are quite tenacious in their grip. This would allow you to adapt your reader to a case that wasn't designed for it.

Yes, I have tried it in person, the Simple Nook Touch is the same case for the Kindle 4/Kindle Touch. If you look at the dimensions of the devices you will see they are very similar. They do not ship to Malaysia, sorry about that!
