New Vox didn't restart..

Initial update went smooth up until it prompted me to restart. I selected 'Restart', the screen turned black to what I presumed was the beginning of the boot sequence and the device never turned on again. I waited over night with the device plugged in but nothing. Returned for a new device, will give it one more shot.

I'll add that the initial device also suffered the same screen alignment issue illustrated by one of the major reviewers where the touch sensitive area is actually misaligned to the GUI. After restarting and holding the device vertical as opposed to sitting it flat it resolve that problem.

One question I had, after clicking 'restart' does the device reboot immediately or should it take a significant amount of time before it boots up again.

The new Vox started up after the upgrade without any issue apart from the Browser which decided to crash. After the browser crashed I had to do a hard reset using the +vol and power button (hold the +Vol button for a total of 30secs). This worked and reset the browser which allowed me to download Dolphin.

One thing I notced was that after the update was installed and the OS restarted, the progress bar only went across 3/4 of the way before indicating it was finished, I hope everything installed correctly. It all appears to work, for now.

This happens to everyone. It is presumably a ui glitch.

You might need to trash your progress bar app and load in a new one. I had to do this, but I can't recall where I got the new one. Maybe running the update check will find and install it.

I'm not too concerned if it's just cosmetic. Thanks for the replies.
