Question about Fonts
Hey everyone. I just bought and received my PB 360+. I have some Sony readers (the 350 and 950) and, had a question.
In Calibre, in my Extra CSS section, I have the following: @font-face { font-family: "LexiaDaMa"; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; src: url(res:///Data/fonts/LexiaDaMa.otf); } I prefer this font (LexiaDaMa) for reading on my ereaders, and was wondering if the above path (res:///Data/fonts/LexiaDaMa.otf) would work with the PB360? Where exactly would I need to put the font files in order for the above to work? |

Oh, yeah, and, are OTF fonts supported?

Ok, cool. Thanks for that tip.
When I do that, what I would like is to be able to DEFAULT to the LexiaDaMa font. Is that possible? |

Is one of those readers the default Epub reader on the machine?

Yes, you can configure all those readers to default to any font, size, margins, spacing, whatever.
The default reader for each file type (as well as whatever alternates you choose) is set in the extensions.cfg file. Then you can long-press the center button to choose which reader to open the book with. If you previously opened it, it will remember which reader you used for that file. For details, check here: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67149 For DRM-encumbered files your only choice is adobeviewer and that one is more limited. |

Japes, the source path on the Pocketbook should be
src: url(res:///mnt/ext1/system/fonts/LexiaDaMa.ttf); but as fjtorres said, it's easier to copy the fonts to the fonts folder and set it in Fbreader or Coolreader as default font. |

Take a look at the following thread: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=132922 It covers this topic pretty well..

Thanks everyone. I'm going out of town for a couple of days now, but, when I get back, I'm hoping I can configure my new reader. Thanks for all the help.

I loaded my newest fonts with the oft ext and they seem to work after reading this I renamed them oft.ttf but didn`t notice a difference.
