A weird and annoying problem with Dolphin HD

I finally loaded Dolphin HD last night, and I really like it. But... today I've noticed something that I can't seem to fix. On some long web pages, when I try to scroll, it scrolls really fast on its own, and I cant control how far it goes. If I try to just go a little bit up or down and keep my finger on the screen, when I pick up my finger it'll keep scrolling on its own. I'm not making a V gesture, just making a straight short line. Any clues/ideas how to fix that?

This isn't just something that happens in Dolphin but I have experienced this with other Android browsers as well. Sometime there are problems with scrollbars in Android (e.g. the scrollbar in Android with another scrollbar on the long webpage itself). A workaround that usually works is to zoom in the page a little and it should then be more scrollable and controllable. This can be accomplished temporarily by double tapping the screen or set permanently: Menu --> More --> Settings --> Page Content Settings --> Default Zoom --> Close.

Yeah, Dolphin can sometimes be wonky that way. I use it on my phone and it does the same kind of thing when zoomed out. Double-tap to zoom in tends to help give control like obsessed2 said. But, there's still some times where it is still hit-n-miss.

what i don't like in dolphin is the menu bar on the fire blocks the menu bar/ settings area on dolphin at the bottom so you cant change stuff
