Job download timestamp column

I would like to see download timestamp of the job as a column (either start or finish time will do), so that I can restart a job manually if it has not downloaded the news on that day. Right now, it is not possible to distinguish if the job shown ran today or on previous days. Pls see attached screen.

As of now, there is a "Running time" column, but nothing about start/finish time of download. The job details also do not show any timestamps.

From my search on forum/bug/enhancement, I don't think this is a request yet. I am not too familiar with python, but am willing to add this feature if someone can confirm that it is not already there.

Why this is required: I download 4-5 news daily. I don't leave computer on 24 hrs so the time of download can vary depending on when the laptop was on. If I set preferences to email the news automatically, then calibre deletes the news from its library after emailing it, so there is no way of knowing in calibre whether the news download was tried or not. I have to check email notification from amazon or check directly on kindle which has its delays and very roundabout way of doing things. A download timestamp will be very useful otherwise too to give confidence on how the jobs are working and how much time they are taking between jobs etc.

As another example, I realized after using calibre for 2 months about why the emailing of news takes 5 minutes even for for small downloads. Then I realized its an automatic time delay for gmail server. I set it to 3 seconds using my own email host. A "download time" column would have alerted immediately to the unusual time gap between news download and its emailing.

Use preferences->tweaks to change how the date column is displayed to included hours and minutes. Or hold your ouse over it to see that information. You cana lso prevent calibre from deleting when emailling via Preferences.
