Downloading PDFs in browser with PRS+

I've had limited success downloading PDF files using the built-in web browser on my PRS 950 (with PRS+). Files from the arXiv and from my Dropbox account don't seem to work, though I was able to download one PDF file straight from a page of Google search results. The downloaded file appeared in my internal memory folder. I'm wondering if anyone else has had better luck, or whether I'm just overlooking something. Thanks!

Download works only if the site does not need login/password, so you can download from your public directory of Dropbox but not from private..

Unfortunatelly browser doesn't allow to access the cookies, and without them, downloader cannot "log in".
