PRS-T1 Sony Prs T1 not start

Hi everyone
I have problem with my PRS T1 - when I tried to start i see only the inscription "Opening book..." the progress bar is full end nothing more :-( PC don't see the reader. I have no idea what more can I do.

In my coutry sony don't support this device.

Does anybody know how to do a "hard reset"?

For reset, there is a reset button.

If reset is not enough, then you will have to go though recovery. What OS are you using ?

Was the reader working before ? Where you doing something when it stooped working ?

The "soft reset" do not solve the problem.

I was install the "Minimal Root Set" but in some reasons I must restore the device to default setting, I tried to do this by using the "restore-set" but when I did this the power was down.

On the two times my husband's T1 has froze, I have plugged it into the computer and hit reset and it has freed it.

If you screwed up while flashing some firmware, e.g. while rooting or unrooting
There is a recovery method using a micro-sd-card.

Search for Recovery-Card-Set or have a direct look over at the-ebook.org:

I did exactly what is write in this topic in section "Recovering from a failed firmware or Root-recovery package"
My T1 is alive:-)

I suppose the battery could be dead. Try plugging it in for a few hours.
