Modified timestamp changed

Why did the Modified timestamp change for over 300 books (out of 3000) after an update to 8.42?

I cant think of anything in 0.8.42 that affects modified date processing. In fact the only commits to the database layer recently were all trivial string changes. If you can come up with a scenario that causes the change, it would be helpful.

I think I figured it out and it was me (I just thought it was later in the day when I did it)
I normalized a few Publisher names in the Tag Browser
