Has anyone else come to the same conclusion I have about this series ?
Having read a couple ? Forget the fanzine bit, the plagiarism bit ( true, IMO), the apparent....well,non-interventionism, of the creator, etc..... put that all to one side. It's rubbish. Compared to the original, IMO. A fairly detailed and ethereal criticism, I realise, but I feel sure the broad thrust of my proposition is clear. It may "pay tribute to " the original conception - but would it not be simpler, a lot more direct, and a lot more creative, to come up with, say, just a very nice "thank you" note to JKR ? In fact, the series seems to be engaged on doing something the creator singularly failed to do, or be accused of, or guilty of...... ![]() While seemingly attempying to gain kudos from doing so. ![]() |
