Cool James Potter ? Mmmmm.........

Has anyone else come to the same conclusion I have about this series ?

Having read a couple ?

Forget the fanzine bit, the plagiarism bit ( true, IMO), the apparent....well,non-interventionism, of the creator, etc..... put that all to one side.

It's rubbish.

Compared to the original, IMO.
A fairly detailed and ethereal criticism, I realise, but I feel sure the broad thrust of my proposition is clear.

It may "pay tribute to " the original conception - but would it not be simpler, a lot more direct, and a lot more creative, to come up with, say, just a very nice "thank you" note to JKR ?

In fact, the series seems to be engaged on doing something the creator singularly failed to do, or be accused of, or guilty of......

While seemingly attempying to gain kudos from doing so.
