Inserting a space
In the text file i'm trying to edit now i've encountered multiple cases of the same word following the preceding one or a punctuation mark without a space between them. The expression:
[^\s]word finds them , but what can i use for the replacement, so that the character preceding 'word' does not disappear? |

Find:
([^\s])word Replace with: \1 word the () capture what's between them and store it, you can reference what was found with \1. Last edited by Ahmad Samir; 11-08-2011 at 02:43 PM. |
