Talking New and confused
A little about myself, I'm a former Army officer, former professional football player and former husband. My son gave me my Pocket eDGe for my birthday in September. As a marketing person I think the eDGE is a perfect example of a great idea from a company that was (apparently) underfunded.

I have read that this is not the place to ask technical questions, but I'm confused by some of the terminology, has anyone done a dictionary of terms?

This is a terrific forum, after a little searching around I was able to upgrade to Ermine. A funny aside here, I did it by using my USB flash and followed the instructions to rename the file "update.zip" and it didn't work. Needless to say frustrated beyond belief, I went through the forum to seek alternatives and saw nothing that applied. On the chance it was a corrupted file I was going to download it again when I looked at the directory the file was named "update.zip.zip" I deleted the second zip and it worked like a charm. I hope the emoticon shows my red face.

Have a visit to the edge/pocket edge forum, when you have the opportunity! Helpful members and many hints, tricks and tips. Also, there are a number of videos posted on YouTube by entourage that will assist in learning to use this little gem!

Forum member obsessed2 has compiled an extremely detailed list of Resources for New Edge and Pocket Edge Owners. And has detailed an updated method of performing an edge update.

The entourage archive at the top of the entourage edge forum is a copy of the official entourage forum copied here when entourage shut down.

There is a thread exploring or expounding on why entourage went under... You were not the first to be caught by the double .zip!
