pdf to epub in icelandic

Hi !

I'm new to the forum and I have a specific problem!

I'm trying to convert a pdf document to ipub using calibre but the Icelandic characters are not converted correctly.

I've looked through the forum and found somewhere that languages could be set in "the GUI via the Input character encoding field in the Look & Feel section" - where, however, Icelandic is not one of the options.

Adobe's InDesign CS5.5 that my friend has can do this but I feel calibre should be able to do it too !

Welcome to Mobileread!

calibre creator, Kovid Goyal, is extremely responsive in the calibre forums , as are all the calibre developers! If you haven't already, visiting there would provide some assistance.

But be forewarned PDF is a terrible format to convert from see 'Read this before Posting PDF Questions' thread.
