New Old Science Fiction
I don't know how many folks visit SF Signal, but they currently have an interview up with Barry Malzberg about a series he is curating for Rosetta Books.

Gollanz recently released a bunch of old stuff. The E.C. Tubb stuff is really good, his Dumarest series. I only read the first one (it's kind of pricey) but was wowed by it. I was expecting something pulpy, instead it's sort of like Dune.
Also evidently a very, very big inspiration for the old Traveller game which I used to play. |

If you go to Gutenberg's sci-fi bookshelf you'll find many of those old classics for free.

Unfortunately, it's only free for people in the US.

I think HarryT is referring to the fact that some of what is on the Project Gutenberg site is only in the Public Domain in the United States. Therefore, if you live say in Canada or the UK, you probably shouldn't download those stories unless you can confirm they are public domain in your country; if they are still under copyright, you should find someplace that sells them and buy them if you want to read them (or find old copies in a library somewhere).
