Text Memos Crashing 650

When I write a text memo, the unit resets itself. I cleared all the books off and reformatted the internal memory. It seemed to have stopped. Since then I've added some books, but not that many. Lo and behold, it's crashing again.

N:B: I am running PRS+. I am storing books on the SD card.
Maybe I should upgrade to the latest Sony firmware (I am running 08100).
Does anyone have experience with this? Could it be a hardware fault (yikes!)?

Thanks Mike. I'll think I'll try reformatting, removing Prs+ and upgrading the firmware to see if that fixes things.

Quick Follow-up: A hard reset fixed everything. It had nothing to with Prs+. I suppose it was caused by a bad epub.
