Stanza is Dead?

So look likse Stanza is finally dead ?
This as a bad day for me and a lot of other users with large libraries.

So what to do:
- There is no real good alternative for STANZA out there (at least on the iOS side of the business!
- Nobody is showing to move in th direction were STANZA already was
- I am no programmer

Proposition: Lets look for an apps Programmer who would be willing to programm a functioning apps with the following functions:

- starting with standard Ebook-Reader apps function (Format, fonts, colours etc.)
- can connect to calibre wireless using calibre server
- download multiple books at one go from server (up to its full contend)
- can use and handles the meta-data available on calibre (min. would be author, Title, author sort, Series, series number, tags, comment,)
- allows to mark a book as read
- shows the comment and other meta data on a specific commend and open the book on another (like in Stanza - hit the arrow , get the metadata/comments, hit the book name open the book)

So it can not be sooo hard to program something like this:
therefore YOU APPS PROGRAMME out there - contact me.

YOU needing something similar -> -
- Help me to get a better description of the functions
- Help to get us started

To the programmer: I /we could either pay you for the work or we put it together on the app store to sell it. - If you price it in a good range i think it could sell on ITunes -

Everbody out there willingly to share the risk / or want to program the apps - Contact me - Contact me - thomashaslinger@t-oline.de

generally will not endear you to developers. If you're not a developer yourself, and specifically a developer who understands the ebook landscape as well as iOS programming, there's really no basis for you to be able to say that.
