Belloc, Hilaire: Europe and the Faith, IMP,v1, 23 Oct 2007.
An eccentric and opinionated view of European and Church history.
Belloc would be horrified by a multi-cultural, multi-faith Europe. His argument is that: “Europe will return to the Faith, or she will perish. The Faith is Europe. And Europe is the Faith.” I’m planning to use some extracts for my students to practice finding informal fallacies, gaps in argument and the like. This work is assumed to be in the Life+70 public domain OR the copyright holder has given specific permission for distribution.
