Ipad to PC transfer of IBooks

Just downloaded Calibre
I have a Kindle and an Ipad2 and successfully located the Kindle books but am having no luck with the IPad

Could someone please give me a simple explanation of how to locate the IPad books and transfer them to the same file wher I have my Kindle books stored

You cannot transfer books from the iPad to the PC. Apple does not give the PC access to the iPad filing system to allow this to happen.

Your easiest answer is probably to install the Kindle for PC program and authorise it to the same account as your existing Kindle and re-download the books directly to the PC.
