Edit metadata not working
Ver. 0.08.64
Hello! I have been using Calibre since it was first introduced. Yesterday, for a reason I cannot find or understand the "edit metadata" will not work for new or existing titles. After clicking and waiting for the search I always receive the "Failed to find any books matching your description". As you instructed a previous user, I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but that didn't change anything. I am at a loss. Thanks in advance for your help. Herm E. |

Simple explanation (my own experience!):
You don't have internet connection or the connection breaks easily! No offence meant! Good luck! SF |

No offense taken. In the meantime I found the problem. I use Firefox. Calibre uses IE for
it's connections. My IE proxy was not set to automatically detect settings. That was the problem. |
