Which Pocketbook is right for me?

Hi all,

I'm hoping to buy a new ereader in the next couple of months. The choice for me will be between a Kindle NT 4 and a Pocketbook, but there are so many different PB available I'm not sure which is right for me. Is there anywhere I can find a comparison of all the different ones?

Basically I would want one that can read as many different formats as possible and do so well. The longer battery life the better and 5 or 6 inch model is what I'd be looking for. Also the ability to just drag and drop books onto my reader or SD card easily.

Oh and preferably nothing over the $150AU mark.

Thanks!

Try looking here: http://www.pocketbookreader.com/

I'm not sure of the conversion rate, but I love my 360 (the original, not the plus) It reads just about everything, and does it well. You can add other reading software to it if you don't like the original, it fits in my pocket, and it has a hard plastic cover that goes over the front, protecting the screen when not in use. Not for nothing is this model known as Mighty Mouse to its many fans! Oh--and you can drag and drop books, or use calibre to export. It's an all-around great reader.

I've had a look but sadly the PB is too expensive for me, especially after shipping. I'll have to look at getting a Kindle or Kobo device when I want to upgrade.

I have a PB360 which I absolutely love. Sadly, the screen broke a few weeks ago - no doubt a result of a few too many accidental drops (though the crack radiates suspiciously from where I have pressed the main button many thousands of times). I will almost certainly be buying a 360 or 360+, from one of the sites linked above - a pity we can't do some sort of Victorian group buy!

I don't like the design of the PB 360, looks too clunky for me - but I do like the 602... I think it's the 602, but again, still too expensive. Maybe one day the PB readers will come down to a more affordable price.

There's a price promo for PB602 and 902 at our websites. It's not much, but still, down a little.
