50+ Free Books for Australians (Kindle)

40 total titles free to pre-order for those in Australia, all from Harper Collins, it appears. A few of these are the 12 Days of Christmas stories (and anthology), but the rest appear to be mostly history and short stories, along with one cookbook.

14 titles from Avon free for Australian Kindle customers. A few of these have been free for a while, but I found a couple that were new.

Halfway to the Grave with Bonus Material: A Night Huntress Novel by Jeaniene Frost
Happily Never After by Jeaniene Frost
A Very Vampy Christmas: From Sugarplums and Scandal by Kerrelyn Sparks
Rose in Bloom: A Novella with Bonus Excerpts by Stephanie Laurens
Fatal Heat: A Navy SEAL Novella by Lisa Marie Rice
Royal Weddings: An Original Anthology by Stephanie Laurens, Gaelen Foley and Loretta Chase
Reckoning: From Unbound by Jeaniene Frost
A Lady's Wish by Katharine Ashe
The Amanda Project: Book 2: Revealed: Part 1: Chapters 1-3 by Amanda Valentino and Peter Silsbee
Diaries of an Urban Panther by Amanda Arista
Before the Witches: An Original Novella by Karina Cooper
He Kills Me, He Kills Me Not by Lena Diaz
Dark Future by Kc Klein
The Perfect Hero by Victoria Connelly

Quite a few more that are not pre-orders. I've set up a search and list of titles in this post: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...3&postcount=13

Thanks for all that effort, Karen. I've pre-ordered quite a few of them.

I think there are 120 total titles. I missed two in my list, but it's getting pretty late here and the list is long enough I'm not going to try to find the two missing ones. The search link (here or in my affiliate thread) is returning 120 books for me, right now (if I log out of Amazon and set my country to AU).

Many thanks for this Koland. I picked up the 3 Stuart MacBride's and the Bernard Cornwell set (Sharpe's Company, Sharpe's Sword, Sharpe's Enemy) for $0.00. Mispriced? Will Amazon honour the preorder if the price has been set incorrectly?

In my experience when Amazon has had a pre-order set at $0.00 they have always honored it. They had the Last apprentice books listed for pre-order at $0.00 and though the release date has been pushed back my books are still listed as $0.00 last time I checked. Other books I've bought for a pre-order price of $0.00 have also been honored at that price when they were released as well.

Cool! Thanks for that feedback @crich70. Surprising that we get them for free when the Americans have to pay normal prices, but I'm not complaining!

We might catch up with you as far as free prices for the books if you give us enough time. Books that have shown as free in the UK have often shown up as not free at that time but then a day or so later the price drops to $0.00 in the U.S. as well. At least it has with Amazon books.

FYI - the pre-orders are now up to 51 titles, with a total of 128 titles free for Australians (only, still), including the 12 Days of Christmas series. I have all the titles in my affiliate thread, I believe (although I might have missed one or two).
