Highlight and notes on K3/K4

Hi, I am thinking to buy an new kindle 4 (Non-touch) for PDF reading and annotation. From the reviews, I found that K3 (and the K4, I hope) can export the notes and highlights. That feature is really attractive to me.

I went to bb to test the k3 and k4, but the display model doesn't show the highlighting/adding note function in the manual bar. The salesperson at bb couldn't figure out why.

Could someone tell me whether I can highlight and make notes in the landscape mode and in the zoom-in mode? Thank you!

Yes, you can highlight and make notes in the landscape mode and in the zoom-in mode. However, when you are zoomed in the 5 way navigation button pans and scrolls the page. To take notes you have to press menu and then select "place cursor in page."

P.S. I am talking about the kindle 3 keyboard version.
