Big e-ink reader (UK)

I'm looking for an e-ink reader with a screen that is least an 8inch screen, mainly for reading large A4 pdfs and that is available in the UK.

Any suggestions are welcome, thanks

I think your best option is probably the Kindle DX. $479.98 (including $20.98 shipping and $80 for import duties). Unless you need to read DRMed PDFs, in which case you need something with the Adobe PDF reading software, such as the Boox M90, $419 including free shipping, but I suspect you'll have to pay import duty on top of that. There's also an M92 coming out shortly.

And there are some others, but not many. See the wiki page.

There are the Pocketbook 9xx models. They seem to have pretty favourable reviews. I believe that Billi has one.

Kindle DX

PocketBook Pro 902 & 903

Onyx Boox M90 & M91S

Where 'available in the UK' means 'orderable online somewhere'

Pocketbook and Onyx Boox should be available in the EU Zone.
I guess that means no extra import duties on top of the what was originally paid.

GreenReader.co.uk also ships Pocketbook in UK.

What is the speed of the M91S like? Is it worth waiting for the M92? Thanks

there has just been a release of a beta version of a new firmware which now allows free-hand annotation of PDF and EPUB files (DJVU not yet). The Pocketbook does not have a Pearl screen, while the Boox do, but from what I have read of the Onyx, I think the second large reader in the house is going to be another PB903.
