Would this be a copyright violation?
A (fictional) motorcycle shop called Mad Dan's Hog Warts. It gives its name to a motorcycle gang called Wart Hogs (or maybe Warhogs). There's no wizards in it.

If you ever watch Labyrinth, Jareth calls Hoggle "Hogwart." I think JK Rowling totally stole that
![]() Anyways, it's not a copyright violation. |

If you ever watch the movie Troll (which I wouldn't recommend, actually), there is a boy in it named Harry Potter (who has magical adventures, though isn't a wizard)

While it would not be a copyright violation, in the US it MAY be a trademark violation. Worth checking into if you're using something that might have a litigious publisher behind it. (Like, for example.. the Harry Potter universe.)
Theoretically, trademarks have to be in the same "market" to be enforcable. Realistically, whoever has the most money to throw at lawyers wins. I honestly think you'd be fine, but just something for consideration. |

Since you can't copyright a name or a title, the answer is no. That said, there could be Trademark issues (which may or may not be enforceable...but who wants to go to war with JK Rowling and her publisher
