Another thing I noticed in the videos was people placing the new Kindle in the back pockets of their pants! Undoubtedly an image concocted by marketing people that might come back to haunt the CS people. That is one of the quickest ways to break a Kindle!

I know kids read!

I just never noticed them advertising it with kids until now. It's mostly been someone outside by the pool, at the beach to enphasize the no glare thing...

I see people put all kinds of devices in their back pockets. And, it boggles the mind. I know that the second I put one in my back pocket, it'd probably just break on principle.

My iPhone has lived in my pocket with keys, coins, etc, for a year, and the screen is as pristine as when it was new. "Gorilla Glass", which both the iPhone and the Fire have, is pretty damned tough.
