Hi! I'm new

Hi everyone! I just registered here today. I have the ebookwise 1150 reader. I've had it for about a year now and I really love it. But I just got a new computer with windows Vista and now I can't upload any books, and I happened to find this forum when I was searching for help. I hope someone here knows what I need to do.

Welcome to MobileRead. You'll find a numbe rof book formatted for the ebookwise 1150 in the E-Books section. Just search for the work IMP. and you'll find them.

As to Vista, one thing I can suggest you try (other then an upgrade to XP) is to set the software that talks to the ebookwise to run as XP.

That sounds like a good idea, but I have no idea how to do that. Is it easy to do?

I can only tell you how it is done in XP as I don't have or want Vista.

Right click on the program's icon and select properites
Next click the Compatibility tab.
Select Run this program in compatibility mode for
Select Windows XP

I hope that works for Vista
