Trackers on Mobileread
I use Firefox, and since I updated to the last version, I noticed that some MR pages were continuously loading, occasionally freezing the page. The reason for this: trackers.
I installed an add-on (Ghostery), and it blocks them now, but why are there trackers on the website (Google Analytics and Quantcast)? |

Although I have reported your post to the Mod Chamber in case someone there can provide further information, I note in the MobileRead Privacy Statement:
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/faq...vacy_statement under Third Party Statistics that MobileRead uses "the Google Analytics and Quantcast services to analyze traffic to this web site. All analytic data is recorded anonymously and there is no exchange of personally identifiable information, such as username or e-mail address".
