Any K2s On AT&T??

So I just grabbed a K2 from eBay, and the subject line said AT&T. Are there any versions that are serviced by AT&T or is the seller mistaken? I sure hope so because Sprint works best in my area.

From my understanding, there are 2 versions of the Kindle 2 - the earlier version that was exclusive to the US and with Sprint 3G and the later version that was "US and international" and with AT&T 3G.

You have the "newer" version of the Kindle 2.

If the serial number begins with B002, it's a K2US and is serviced by Sprint. If the serial number begins with B003, it's a K2i (International) and is serviced by AT&T.

Unless your McDonald's has a computer you can use to sideload a book, I don't think that will help. K2s don't have Wi-Fi.

No wifi?? Wow. Ok So the combination of both began with the K3. That's ok, I'm still happy with my purchase! Thanks!

All of the K2s on eBay say "3G + Wifi". While investigating the matter I have found that they do not have wifi. Also people are paying a premium for them! I guess they haven't checked Amazon's prices!

So I got my K2 from eBay and I LOVE it! Its so much more convenient than shopping online then connecting my device to a PC via cable to get a book as I have to do with my Sony! (Any one remember Palm & AdvantGo!) I thought the screen would be considerably lesser than my 350, but its not! Its been a pleasure so far reading on it! Its a little heavier than I thought, but it feels great in my hands! And 3G is working out great in my office! I can't wait for the K4 now! Heck! I may still get a K3 and start a kindle collection!
