Apart from the gloriously unavailable 300, it's £129.99 here too.
But someone said they were shown a white option - just [Ithink] nasty red, or boring black. Grey wouldn't be bad, prob'ly too subtle.........

How weird. I'm in the UK and just went to the site and the price I'm getting is £134.99 inc vat. Can't they even figure out the price? I used to rush to get the new Sony on the release day but I really can't be bothered any more.

I also get the colours of red, black and white.

I had this 'issue'.

Not sure if it's the same for you, but the price seemed to be dependent on which Sony Centre you had set as your 'home' one. There were price differences - I saw prices of £129.00, £129.99, £134.99 and £139.99 depending on the store you selected.

However, if you process the order, it will default to the generic price of £129 I think - at least it did for me.

You get a message along the lines of;

"It's cheaper through Sony Style than at your local Sony Centre - so on this occasion, Sony Style will fulfill your order".

Ah, right, I see what you mean Bilbo. NYes, that'd work...

Actually, the UK Sony Store system might be responsible for the price muddle - as I understand it, each store is a stand-alone business, no connection to the main Sony corporate thingy.
So, p'raps they're all setting their own price guesstimates !

I'm still only getting red and black - but £129 so that's summat....

I would suggest that if you want a light, don't get a clip-on light but instead get the light cover. I have the light cover for my 650 is it is very nice.

Odd, I'll try a few more postcodes.

And I agree about the covers, JS - I've got the 350 & 650 covers, and they are pleasing in the same way the devices are; well made, substantial, and functionally excellent.

Don't know if the T-1 covers are likely to be "built-up" to this level, though.

£129? I'm more than happy to pay that to preplace my PRS-600.

Got a birthday coming up at the end of October, wonder it it will be out by then? Might be able to get it alot less than £129 if I can persuade family members it's a good investment.

Seeing as the only date I can find on the Sony site is 31/08/11, then it's almost a month late. Does anyone know when it is going to be released?
