Folders?

Is there a way to create folders for apps to go in like you can with the iphone?

Check out SmartShortcuts, or similar apps. I don't know how the iphone works, but Smartshortcuts lets you assign apps, bookmarks, and contacts to Tags which you put on your desktop as widgets. Each widget, when tapped, shows everything assigned to that Tag. Very like a folder with shortcuts inside.

I know that if you long press on the desktop it lets you add folders, but I've never done so to see if those are shortcuts to existing folders in the file system or actual app holding folders.

Jamina, a long press allowed me to create the folder. Then it's as easy as drag and dropping the apps you want in it. And you can rename the folder once it's open by long pressing on the name. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much.
