Too bad the tree wasn't hooked up with Amazon or Smashwords, so the kids could have downloaded a free sample and then decided whether they wanted to pay Shel Silverstein's estate for his work.

Given, that the file format was .azw, it would be an amazon book, they're just accessing it directly from the tree itself, and not via amazon, and thus the DRM issue.

Especially ironic because Silverstein's works aren't available as eBook. Are they? I've been wanting them for awhile.
