Is the LG 800G an Android device?

This may be a silly question, but from the description I really can't tell. It doesn't say smartphone or give an Android version, but it says "APP Capable" (whatever that means!) I'd like a TracFone Android smartphone, but I'm not knowledgable enough to know if such a thing exists (yet).

I don't think that the LG 800G is an Android phone.

As far as an Android phone on TracFone... Looks like Samsung is going to be dropping one on their network that uses the Sprint network.

No it's not Android OS. It's an LG propitiatory OS.

Thanks for the info. Straight Talk is indeed offering the Samsung now, but I liked the $50 price of the LG more than the $149.99 for the Samsung - but since the LG can't run the Android apps I depend on, it's a moot point.
