Type element usage

Hello

Has anybody ever ventured on implementing the DC 'type' element in the metadata section or can point me to authoritative examples?
I'm particularly interested in instances of "controlled vocabularies" as per the OPF specification.

Thank you very much!

There's no "implementation" for something that is purely a piece of metadata. I follow this document, which means that for normal books I use "text" and for illustrated books both "text" and "image".

Thank you, that page is very informative. I guess I overestimated 'type' quite a bit when I read that it is meant to describe "general categories, functions, genres, or aggregation levels for content".

PS
I'm ashamed to ask but I'm at a loss when it comes to their site: how did you get to that page?
