Back up question
I want to download my Kobo books to have a back up, is it better to use a flash drive or copy them on CDs? and what abour DRMs codes?

well, for backup purposes, they do keep them on their site until you delete them (or at least, that's the way it's supposed to work).
If you download the epub versions, then you're downloading ther ACSM file which in turn will download the book within ADE. once you have that epub book in ADE, you can move it to any medium you like, however, you will only be able to open it within ADE or other device that uses ADE DRM with the username/password that you downloaded it with. of course, to get around this, you could always DRM it, but that I can't help you with ![]() |

I just keep all my books on a Micro-SD card. Though all of them have been stripped soo.....I don't know how it would work otherwise.

I also make use of a program called Always Sync which I have set to always copy changed files from my Kobo every time it is plugged in to my WHS (Windows Home Server) box. I think I keep 7 days worth of old versions of files.
Always Sync also backups my calibre library and my GPS. |
