I forgot about that. Are the new Torchwoods good? I'll probably just download the season from iTunes. That's what I did to catch up on Dr Who while we were living in the hotel a few months ago. It worked out pretty well.

Starz

Torchwood is very different this season and it's taking place mostly in the USA. I like it so far.

Torchwood is running for ten episodes on Starz this summer. Three episodes to go. With luck we'll get a full season in 2012.

I just watched the last episode of Doctor Who the other night. Can't wait for the next.

10 episodes IS "a full season" for a BBC programme. That's the length that most programmes run for in a season. BBC scheduling is based on spring/summer/autumn/winter schedules with a few weeks off for Christmas, etc.

Just saw the trailer for the next torch wood episode tomorrow. UKTV now 11:08pm Friday - looks good.

Seasons 1 & 2 were 13, as were most of the recent seasons of Doctor Who. Of course, a full season is however many they want to make it.

Just saw the trailer for the first episode of the new series of Dr Who.
So does that mean that we're ahead of the US? I think it's next Saturday.
